Discover the bold, expressive world of linocut printmaking in this hands-on introductory workshop at Castlemaine Press.
Suitable for complete beginners, this workshop introduces the essential techniques of relief printmaking in a supportive studio environment. Participants will learn how to develop an image for print, transfer designs onto lino, safely use carving tools, explore mark-making and texture, inking and rolling up a block, and printing by hand and press.
Drawing from both contemporary and traditional printmaking approaches, Clayton’s workshops are known for their relaxed, accessible atmosphere and encouragement of individual creative direction.
All materials supplied. No prior experience necessary.
