Welcome to
Castlemaine Press!
Castlemaine Press
is a community access printmaking studio in the heart of Central Victoria.
Printmaking has been practised since prehistoric times when cave people inked their hands and stamped them on cave walls. The process can simply be described as the transfer of an image from one surface onto another. But that’s where the rules finish – printmaking invites endless exploration of technique and creativity: If you’re curious, you’re ready to start!
