Castlemaine Press is a community access printmaking studio at Lot 19 art space in Castlemaine, Victoria. We are an incorporated, not-for-profit venture run by passionate printmakers with a growing membership base.

Whether you’re a beginner or established printer, we have equipment and expertise to fulfil your printmaking needs. Our studio has great natural light, presses both large and small, plenty of bench space and easy access. Castlemaine Press is a place to meet printmakers, work collaboratively, build skills and produce prints using quality equipment in a collaborative and relaxed atmosphere.

We offer affordable access to printmaking facilities for artists and host a program of classes for beginners and experienced printmakers alike, as well as providing space for collaborative projects, artist residencies and exhibitions. We place an emphasis on arts practice and materials that minimise environmental impact.

Castlemaine Press is keen to build relationships with local community and arts organisations.

If you would like to work with us, please get in touch.
