Welcome to Print Club.

Sometimes, printmaking can be a lonely enterprise. As a member of our printing community we want you to feel connected, inspired, and supported. That’s why we’ve started Print Club!

The first rule of Print Club is that there are no rules, but there are parameters. Here’s how it works:

  • Print Club will occur once a month (dates below) at no cost.

  • Doors open at 6:30pm and a member of the committee will be there to greet you. Doors close at 8:30pm.

  • No need to book, just turn up.

  • This is for current members, but if you would like to find out more about CP and what we do, you are welcome to come and chat. Use of presses is for inducted members only.

  • Be respectful of others’ work and ideas and give any feedback as you would like to receive it, i.e. be constructive and supportive.

  • Share the presses. Imagine you’re back at uni and you need to line up.

  • Clean up after yourself. Leave things as you found it: clean and tidy.

  • There is no set schedule of activities, but you might like to:

    • Work on some plates while you talk with others.

    • Share ideas and techniques (really encourage this!).

    • Run some proofs through the press (No editions, please. That’s for solo booked time).

    • Bring some cake or other nibbles to share with the Club.

    • You don’t even have to print. You can sketch, talk, share, whatever you need to do.
